Bramhall Park Run/Beluga Prize April 2012

We're delighted to announce the winner of the Park Run for April 2012 is:

HELEN & ADAM BROWN!

The Browns have been running at Bramhall since the early days and have well over 100 runs between them. Adam was always pretty speedy but Helen has made tremendous strides with her running and fitness since starting at parkrun. Adam is always one of the first to volunteer for any task and is often helping with scanning or funnel whether he has run himself or not. In the last couple of years Helen has become a regular volunteer for the sometimes tricky task of collating and uploading the results. The parkrun software has improved greatly in the last year but you've still got the times and results of a few hundred people to line up correctly.

The prize is awarded on the 3rd Saturday of the month. The winner is chosen from the Bramhall parkrun community by the organising team. As Beluga particularly value the parkrun's contribution to the local community we have decided to focus this award on those who make the parkrun happen and give it the atmosphere that we all enjoy.
